Utility-Scale Solar Power Plant

Overview

In 2014, APL received the rights to develop a 63 megawatt solar power plant in Gunma Prefecture under the nationwide feed-in tariff system introduced in 2012 to promote renewable energy. Once operational, it is expected to become one of the largest solar power plants feeding into the Tokyo Electric Power Company, which is Japan’s largest electric company.
