Overview

In 2020, APL Group initiated a comprehensive investigation and analysis of Northern Kyushu’s potential as a data center hub. Recognizing its strategic advantages, the region was identified as a promising destination for next-generation digital infrastructure development.

Since 2021, APL Group has been dedicated to establishing Northern Kyushu as a leading international data center hub for the Asia-Pacific region. We have cultivated extensive expertise and networks, while actively securing land and reliable power supply, and attracting hyperscale operators to the region.

Pipeline

In 2023, an SPC formed by APLJ acquired land for its first project in Kitakyushu City. Additionally, APLJ has secured a pipeline exceeding 540MW within Fukuoka Prefecture.
