Overview

In 2007, APL acquired a significant interest in a 37-story office building that had been completed in 2005 and was located on the renowned Huaihai Middle Road in Shanghai. Representing one of the few international Class A office properties in central Puxi at the time – one of Shanghai’s premium office districts – APL identified the opportunity to significantly increase the rents to align with the market.

APL successfully raised rents by working with the co-owners and guided an onshore loan restructuring that enhanced distributions to shareholders.
